This Renault Captur came in for a Mini Detail service.
I will be honest, I did think if I should take it or not! But then again, it was Sunday and I had nothing else to do…
How it reached us
The cleaning process
On the exterior, we used Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax, after a pre-wash with P&S Express APC.
The wheels and tyres were cleaned with Auto Finesse Reactive wheel cleaner. This was actually the first time we’ve tried it and were really impressed with the results (even if it was snowing to make it a bit more difficult).
Finally applied some hybrid ceramic and rinsed it all before thoroughly drying it with a nice fluffy drying towel.
Inside we blasted it with compressed air before vacuuming. Sprayed the carpets with APC and agitated the dirt with a drill brush for extraction.
Dusting every plastic trim, central console and dashboard, scrubbed it clean with our trusty APC, followed by conditioning all of it with Hyper Dressing.
Windows cleaned and the outside sealed with Glaco, New Car scent by Meguiars sprayed on the interior and it’s ready to be picked up by the customer, who could not believe it was the same car!
